These sessions are relaxed and friendly and are a great break and opportunity to make friends, meet folk and make something wonderful.

Schedule

Monday Evenings: Knitting Class
7pm - 9pm
A great class for either beginner's or improvers. Come and learn either basic stitches, or improve your techniques. Learn lace, ribs, Fairisle, intarsia or finishing techniques. Each class will concentrate on a particular technique and students can also work on their own projects with guidance from tutor. Lots of learning in a friendly and relaxed environment and inspiration from some of Nicki's books - this October 201 Knitted Projects, Blocks and Ideas will be released with some great ideas to work on.
Cost: £22 per session (includes practice materials)

Tuesday Evenings: Crochet Class
7pm - 9pm
Come and learn to crochet. Learn basic crochet techniques right from the beginning. How to hold the hook, the yarn and to make simple chains, double and trebles. Learn to make a lovely round cushion cover or a beautiful 'granny square' blanket. Students will learn to crochet at their own pace in a relaxed and friendly environment.
For those who already crochet come and improve your stitches, practice more squares or straight lines. There are lots of free patterns and samples to use and small class ensures lots of individual attention.

Wednesday Evenings: Sewing Class
7pm - 9pm
This class is for both beginners or improvers.
From the very basics of learning to thread the sewing machine, the bobbin, practice straight and zig zag stitches, hemming, sewing seams, cutting and measuring. We will learn to make a reversible bag and progress to inserting a zip into a purse or bag.

Improvers can come and practice making some gorgeous projects and use our Bernina sewing machines (also for sale).

Students will learn to sew at their own pace in a relaxed and friendly environment. Small class ensures lots of individual attention.

Knitting & Sewing Groups
The Studio is available for your own knitting or sewing groups to come and knit or sew together, use a relaxed and comfortable space and have fun with your knitting group. If you'd like to use the studio for your knitting group, please contact Nicki.
